If you’re like most iPhone users, you probably love Snapchat. The app is fun, easy to use, and lets you share photos and videos with your friends in a quick and easy way. But one thing that might not be so great about Snapchat is the bright light of the screen. That’s where Dark Mode comes in! Dark Mode is a feature that was first introduced on Android phones, but now it’s available on iPhones as well. When you turn on Dark Mode, the screen becomes darker and more muted, making it easier to see what you’re doing. To enable Dark Mode on your iPhone:
- Open the Snapchat app and sign in if you haven’t already done so. If you have an account but don’t have Dark Mode enabled, click on the three lines in the top left corner of the app screen and select “Settings.”
- Under “General,” tap on “Dark Mode.” If you have multiple accounts set up on your iPhone, tap on “Accounts” instead and select which account you want to enable Dark Mode for. (If you don’t have any accounts set up yet, this step won’t be necessary.) ..

How to Switch to Dark Mode in Snapchat for iPhone
To activate dark mode in Snapchat, first, open the Snapchat app on your iPhone. At the top-left corner of the app, tap the user icon.
On the user page, from the top-right corner, select the “Settings” option (a gear icon).
On the “Settings” page, at the bottom of the “My Account” section, tap “App Appearance.”
You’re now on the “App Appearance” page. Here, select “Always Dark.” This ensures Snapchat always uses a dark theme, regardless of what your iOS settings are.
And that’s all. With Snapchat offering a dark mode on iPhone, your favorite app should now blend well with the other apps where you’ve enabled dark mode on your phone.
On a related note, did you know your iPhone also has a built-in dark mode?
